The closest steakhouses to Boston are Peabody and Methuen, so it's a north-of-town play. It's billed as a summer deal, so re-check before a fall visit.

Posted on the pub's own weekly-specials page: kids under 11 eat free from the kids menu on Tuesdays from 4 to 8pm — up to two free kids meals per adult entrée, one of the most generous ratios anywhere. It's out on Route 9 in Southborough (Westborough too), so file it under MetroWest nights rather than a T ride.

Kids Eat Free Wednesdays (All of 2026)

Smashburger's own 2026 terms run kids-eat-free every Wednesday through December 31: kids 12 and under eat free with any adult meal (entrée, side and drink), in-store only — no app, online or delivery orders. There's a location right on Boylston Street in Back Bay, plus Natick and Westwood; participation is store-set, so confirm yours is in.

This Melrose spot advertises kids-eat-free Wednesdays on its own Facebook, and 2026 local roundups add the fine print: the free kids meal comes with an adult entrée of $18 or more. The post dates are fuzzy, so make the one-minute call before the drive north.

The best standing kids deal inside Boston proper, straight from the restaurant's own kids-menu page: at the Inn at Longwood Medical's grille, kids 12 and under eat free from the kids menu — lunch or dinner — with an adult entrée. One catch: the restaurant keeps weekday hours only, so it's a Monday-through-Friday play in the Longwood Medical Area.

IHOP

Kids Eat Free Daily, 4–10pm

At participating IHOPs, kids 12 and under get a free kids-menu meal with an adult entrée, every day from 4 to 10pm, dine-in. The Soldiers Field Road IHOP in Brighton runs 24 hours and Quincy has one on Parkingway — participation is franchise-set, so a quick call saves the trip.

Chili's Grill & Bar

Free Kids Meal Offers via My Chili's Rewards

My Chili's Rewards members (free to join) regularly get free-kids-meal offers dropped into their account — a Pepper Pals meal free with any adult entrée, dine-in or online. There's no fixed day, so check the rewards wallet before you go. Chili's ring the metro from Braintree to Dedham.

Moe's Southwest Grill

Kids Eat on Us — Free Kids Meal Weekly (Rewards)

Moe Rewards members get one free kids meal a week with an adult entrée through the chain's Kids Eat on Us program — the offer drops into the app and resets weekly. Metro presence is thin, though: Waltham is the closest confirmed location, so check the app (and the map) before heading out.

The Massachusetts Applebee's franchise doesn't run a standing weekly kids night — instead it drops kids-eat-free promos around holidays (this July 4th, kids 12 and under ate free with an adult entrée, limit two per entrée, with an online code).
