Best Cheap Eats in Fresno
Two People, Under $20

🍇 Fresno  ·  16 deals  ·  Updated August 2026

Fresno sits in the heart of the Central Valley, and between its huge Latino community and the largest Hmong population in the country, it has one of the deepest — and flat-out cheapest — food scenes in California. Taco trucks and birria, Hmong and Lao sticky-rice plates, some of the best pho in the state, Hawaiian plate lunch, a legendary Italian deli and a big-portion diner. Two eat well under $20 here without breaking a sweat. A few trucks close Sundays or Mondays or run dinner-only, so check hours before you go.
