Two Burger Meals
A Seattle burger institution since 1954, with walk-up windows across the city. Burgers start at a couple of dollars and the famous Deluxe runs around $5, with hand-cut fries and real-ice-cream shakes a couple bucks more — so two people each get a full burger meal for well under $20. Tacos Chukis
Tacos for Two
A local favorite for al pastor and adobada tacos, with the signature Chukis taco piling on melted cheese, grilled pineapple, and guacamole. Regular tacos are about $2.95 and the Chukis $3.35, so two people get three or so each for around $20. Locations on Capitol Hill, the Central District, and Beacon Hill.

Street Tacos for Two
A Beacon Hill taqueria where à la carte street tacos run as low as about $2.09 (a bit more for tripe or lengua), so two people can stack a satisfying taco meal for well under $20. Stick to the tacos — the combo plates run higher. Casual, quick, and cheap.
Kau Kau BBQ
Cantonese BBQ Over Rice
A Chinatown-International District mainstay since 1974 for Cantonese roast meats. BBQ pork over rice runs around $6, so two people can each get a rice plate — roast pork, roast duck, or char siu — and still come in well under $20. Closed Tuesdays.

A beloved local pho chain that hands you a free cream puff with every bowl. Large bowls of pho run roughly $8–10, so two people eat a full Vietnamese meal for well under $20. Locations in the U-District, Capitol Hill, Fremont, Wallingford, and on Aurora.

A small Capitol Hill teriyaki-and-bento counter that's a genuine cheap-eats holdout in a city where teriyaki keeps creeping up. The C-5 combo — chicken teriyaki with rice, potstickers, and a drink — runs about $9, so two people get a filling plate each for around $18. Weekday lunch hours.
The Salvadorean Bakery
Pupusas for Two
A family-run White Center institution for more than 30 years, turning out hand-patted Salvadoran pupusas for around $3 each, served with curtido. Two people each order a few pupusas, plus a pastry from the bakery case, and stay well under $20.
Matt's Famous Chili Dogs
Chili Dogs for Two
A Georgetown hot-dog stand serving Chicago-style chili dogs since 1992. Dogs now run $7–8.50, so the two-for-$20 play is a dog each plus a shared order of fries ($4.19). Order at the window. Closed Sundays.

Seattle's most celebrated pho institution since 1982 — the famous boat-shaped building has closed, and the operation carries on as Pho Bac Sup Shop right across the lot at 1240 S Jackson. Bowls now run $12.50–13.50, so the budget play for two is splitting a large plus an appetizer for right around $20.

A tidy Green Lake banh mi shop with a house basil-cilantro aioli. Its own menu prices banh mi at $7.75 (grilled pork, chicken, tofu, meatball, cold cuts), so two full sandwiches run $15.50; a sandwich plus the $5.75 veggie is $13.50. Owner-priced.
Little Ting's Dumplings
12 Dumplings $13.99
A Bitter Lake spot for handmade Northern-Chinese dumplings and Wuhan hot-dry noodles. Its own Chowbus ordering prices a dozen dumplings at $13.99 — enough to share — or two bowls of Sichuan dan dan noodles at $9.99 each = $19.98. Owner-priced.

MOD Pizza
One 11" Pizza Split Two Ways — $15.79, Unlimited Toppings
MOD fast-fires an 11-inch build-your-own pizza in about three minutes, and the model is one price however many of the 40-plus toppings go on it — the chain's own words are "the price always stays the same." The 11-inch MOD-size with unlimited toppings reads $15.79 at the 1302 6th Ave store on MOD's own ordering system, August 2026 — $7.90 a head when two people split it, which is the cheapest honest way through the door. MOD sizes a salad it labels "Mega (Feeds 2)" outright at $17.04, so one order is dinner for both of you without touching the pizza menu. Want your own pie each? Two 6-inch minis with cheese run $16.58. Worth knowing before you go: your first purchase as a MOD Rewards member earns a free MOD-size pizza or salad, which makes round one genuinely two for the price of one. The trap is drinks — two 16 oz fountains add $7.18 and put the loaded 11-inch at $22.97, past the line, so drink water or drop to the $12.79 cheese build. MOD prices by store, so confirm at yours — the spread across the cities we checked runs $11.89 to $16.59 for the same pizza.

A Pacific Northwest institution (family-owned, founded 1962) with a dozen-plus Seattle-area stores including Ballard at 2853 NW Market St. The Crisp Burrito runs about $5.69, so two people eat for roughly $11–14 with sides. Prices load through the chain's own ordering app rather than posting as plain text, so this figure is our best read — price check pending.
Jet's Pizza
$5 Off Any Specialty Pizza Online — Medium All Meaty $17.87
The Detroit-style original — Sterling Heights, Michigan, 1978, the chain that made the buttery, caramel-crusted square a national thing — covers Seattle's north end with Bothell and Lynnwood stores. The play is the $5 Off Any Specialty Pizzas deal built into the chain's online ordering menu: a medium All Meaty (pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, bacon, hamburger) listed at $22.87 on our August 2026 read at the chain's Denver store and rang up $17.87 with the deal applied — under the line with room for tax, and a medium is eight big slices, plenty for two. It's a deals-menu item so it can rotate out — and if it does, texting your order to your store takes 15% off menu-priced pizza. Prices vary by store, so run the math at yours before checkout.
