Jim's Steak & Spaghetti House
Two Spaghetti Dinners — $15.90 💡 Salad & Bread Included
A James Beard America's Classic since 1938, now carried on by Vicki Dunn-Marshall's family after generations of Tweels. Their own lunch menu prices the small Italian Spaghetti Dinner at $7.95 — with salad or slaw and bread included — so two complete dinners are $15.90, or $13.90 à la carte at $6.95 a plate. Honest note: the famous fried haddock sandwich is $10.95, so a pair of those runs $21.90 — the spaghetti is the play. Save room for homemade pie.

Frostop Drive-In
Honk-to-Order Slaw Dogs & Root Beer 💡 Call for Prices
The 1920s drive-in on Hal Greer Blvd where you still honk your horn to order under the giant rotating root beer mug. Slaw dogs, chili dogs, onion rings and frosted mugs — a Huntington rite of passage. Honest note: Frostop publishes no menu anywhere it controls, and the Frostop website that tops a Google search belongs to an unrelated drive-in in Idaho — so we won't print a price. Call (304) 523-6851 for what things cost today.

Hillbilly Hot Dogs
Two Dogs + Fries — $14.00 💡 Closed Tue–Wed
The school-bus-and-junkyard shrine in Lesage that Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives made famous. Their own menu prices the Hillbilly Dog at $4.75, so two dogs plus a shared $4.50 order of fries is $14.00 — $18.00 even with two pops. The 15-inch, three-and-a-half-pound Homewrecker is $24.50: that's the show, not the deal. Print the hours before you drive out — Thu–Mon 11–5 only, closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Fat Patty's
Two Big Salads — $17.98 💡 The $7.49 Chubby Is Gone
Correcting our own card: the $7.49 Chubby burger we used to send you here for no longer exists on the owner menu, and burgers now run $12.49–14.99 — any two break $20 with room to spare. What still works, straight from their 2025 menu: the Fat's salad or grilled-chicken Caesar at $8.99 (two for $17.98), a $9.99 chicken wrap plus a salad for $18.98, or two $9.99 cheese pizzas at $19.98 — razor-thin, order water. Still the game-day room near Marshall.

Pho U & Mi
Pho for Two — Prices Not Posted Online 💡 Closed Mondays
Huntington's Vietnamese room on 3rd Ave — big fragrant bowls of pho, crisp egg rolls, vermicelli plates. Honest note: their own website lists the menu but not a single price, so we can't verify a number. Aggregators put bowls around $8–9.25, which pencils to roughly $16–18 for two — treat that as a sketch, not a promise, and call (681) 888-5338 first. Closed Mondays.

Marshall Hall of Fame Cafe
Two Chopped Salads — $18.00 💡 Sandwich Pairs Run $27+
The Thundering Herd memorabilia hall on 3rd Ave, carded honestly for the first time: on their own menu the cheapest sandwiches and smashburgers are $13.50–15, so any two run $27-plus — our old "$16 for two" claim is dead. The under-$20 plays that do work: two chopped salads at $9.00 each is $18.00, or split the $12.50 flatbread with a $6.00 order of chips & salsa for $18.50 — a light game-day graze. Even the $12 pick-two lunch doubles to $24.

The Wild Ramp
Grab-and-Go Local Lunch — Prices Vary by Vendor
A year-round nonprofit market in Old Central City, West Huntington, stocking local farmers and makers — heat-and-eat meals, baked goods, produce, occasional live music. Honest note: every price is set by the individual vendor and none are posted online, so the "$14 for two" we used to print was a guess by construction — we've dropped it. Two can still graze cheap here; budget by what's in the case. Same block as Cicada Books.

Cicada Books & Coffee
Coffee & a Pastry for Two — Call for Prices 💡 Closed Mondays
The indie bookstore-café most lists — ours included, until now — file under "downtown." It's actually at 604 14th St W in West Huntington, a block from the Wild Ramp. Locally roasted coffee, light bites, author signings and board-game nights make it a cozy cheap date; their own menu lists the whole offering but no prices, so call (681) 378-3463 before you plan a budget around it.

Tudor's Biscuit World
Biscuit Breakfast for Two — Prices Vary by Store
You can't do a West Virginia food tour without a Tudor's biscuit, and Huntington has three stores — 520 20th St, 1202 Hal Greer Blvd and 1411 Adams Ave. Honest note: the chain's own menu lists every biscuit — the Ron, the Mary B, the Peppi — with calorie counts but not one price, and each franchisee sets its own, so our old "$10 for two" was a guess. It's still likely the cheapest hot breakfast in the state; phone your store. Doors open around 5:30am and close by early afternoon.
📍 3 Huntington locations · ⏳ ~5:30am–2pm
💡 Pro tip: Watch the closed days — they cluster: Jim's is closed Monday, Cicada Books Monday, Pho U & Mi Monday, Frostop Sunday, and Hillbilly Hot Dogs is closed Tuesday and Wednesday and shuts at 5pm the days it's open, so it's a lunch trip, not a dinner one. The Wild Ramp and Cicada sit on the same block of 14th St W in Old Central City — an easy West Huntington double. Slaw on the dog is non-negotiable. If a price has moved, flag it on our main directory so we can fix the card.
We re-checked all 14 cards against owner sources on August 14, 2026. Every spot survived — nothing on this page has closed — but several of our own claims didn't, and they're corrected here with the numbers rather than quietly edited away:

Sheetz
Meal Bundlez — Hot Doggie Delight $19.16+ 💡 Re-check in the App
The Altoona, PA-born 24/7 made-to-order kitchen keeps three Huntington stores — 2251 5th Ave, 740 6th Ave and 432 18th St W. From our July 2026 read of Sheetz's own ordering menu, the Meal Bundlez board did the two-person math for you: the Hot Doggie Delight at $19.16+ (six hot dogs, two Extra Biggz appz, two fountain drinks), the Tailgate for 2 at $19.55+, and solo bundles like Flatz & Snacks ($9.77+) pairing up just under the line. Fair warning: that flagship bundle sits 84 cents under twenty, Sheetz prices drift, and the app is the only place to re-check — so confirm your store's number before you order. Open 24/7.

Cook Out
Two Cook Out Trays — $15–18 · 40+ Shakes
The Thomasville, NC-born drive-thru cult legend (~380 stores across 11 southern states) serves Huntington from 25th St near Marshall: the famous Cook Out Tray: an entrée (burgers, BBQ, chicken tenders, quesadillas), two sides — a whole corn dog counts as a side — and a big drink, running about $7.50–9 depending on market, so two trays land at $15–18 with room for a couple of the 40-plus milkshake flavors. Cook Out publishes no prices online and takes no online orders — tray figures come from recent store boards, so confirm at the window. Drive-thru, open past 3am every night.

Firehouse Subs
Subs for Two — Prices Vary by Store 💡 Check the App
Founded in 1994 by two firefighter brothers, now 1,200+ stores — with one in town at 1548 3rd Ave, plus an outlet on Marshall's campus. Honest correction: the exact prices this card used to carry were read from a Florida store's menu, not Huntington's, so we've pulled them. The cheap-for-two shapes still hold — the roughly-$5 Firehouse Snackers half-subs and the small 4-inch Hook & Ladders are how two people stay near the line, while the 8-inch mediums most people order pair well over it. Firehouse only shows real prices per-store in its app, so build the order there before you go, or call (304) 528-9100.

Buffalo Wild Wings
Pick 6 — From $19.99 When Offered 💡 Huntington's Is a Takeout "GO"
The Pick 6 — six items across wings, tenders and sides, built to share — starts at $19.99 on BWW's own promo page, which is one cent under our line; upgrades push it over, and the fine print says prices may run higher in some states. Two catches for Huntington: it's a rotating limited-time promo (it ran August 2025 and came back March 2026), not an everyday menu item, and the city's own unit is BWW GO at 2060 3rd Ave — a takeout-only counter opened December 2025 where dine-in promos may not apply. The nearest full sports bar is at Huntington Mall in Barboursville. Check the app before you drive.

2 × $9.99 Meal Deals — If Honored 💡 Store Headlines 2 for $25
The national $9.99 Really Big Meal Deal — Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Big Cluckin' Chicken Sandwich or Big Bangin' Burger with endless fries and a drink — would feed two for $19.98, dine-in. Here's the catch: the Huntington store's own page headlines the 2 for $25 (over our line) and doesn't mention the $9.99 deal at all, and "at participating locations" is doing a lot of work in that promo. Call (304) 525-4321 and confirm the Meal Deal is honored before you go — otherwise your check starts at $25.
